Teacher Talk: Teacher Outfits

It’s time for another teacher talk Tuesday! Today’s theme is all about teaching outfits, and many of you who follow my blog and Instagram postings know that my closet is filled with J.Crew, Banana Republic, and Target. If you don’t…you should go follow me on Instagram, my handle is apjacks! 🙂 Anyways, I’ve compiled a collage of some of my favorite teaching looks…

My outfits for teaching are always some variation of these four main looks:It’s rather cold at my school so I always wear some sort of jacket. Normally I choose between a cardigan or long sweater, but my nice blazers occasionally make an appearance! My shirts are always a mixture between button-ups and blouses, and I have just about every type/color of bottoms available…my favorites are pencil skirts, khakis, and capri dress-slacks. Although I love a fashionable pair of heels, I don’t find them reasonable to wear to school. Since I teach on my feet all day I prefer a comfortable pair of cute flats, mine are all from Nine West. I absolutely love statement jewelry because it gives my outfits an extra POP of style! Most of my necklaces come from boutiques around Raleigh, but my favorite pieces are my Slane pearls, personal monogram, and Tiffany starfish necklace. Plus, I highly recommend a large basket to hold all of your teaching supplies! I bought mine from Charlotte’s in Raleigh, and, of course, it’s monogrammed!

Hope you’ve enjoyed my teacher outfits! Please feel free to leave comments with questions & suggestions! Remember to check out the two lovely ladies who are hosting the Teacher Talk, Nicole and Jamie
