Hi loves! It feels like it’s been forever since I last posted, but life has been a little demanding recently.
Here’s a quick update of my life lately…I hope you enjoy the pictures!
My dad’s family recently welcomed a new member, puppy Caroline! She is a Valley Bulldog and the absolute sweetest little girl. Such a great addition to the Jackson clan!
Have a mentioned that Charlotte has SO much to offer?! I swear, you can never be bored in this wonderful city…there is always something going on! I’ve only been in Charlotte for five months and I have already made new friends and found an amazing church…God is good!
Speaking of Charlotte, if you live near Uptown and haven’t gone to the new minor league baseball stadium then shame on you! It’s no secret that I love visiting baseball stadiums, and BB&T Ballpark does not disappoint! In my opinion, life doesn’t get much better than watching a baseball game, with a cold beer in your hand, at a beautiful stadium in the summer with your friends! Go Knights!
“What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
My amazing Mom bought me this necklace from Jewelry in Braille as a simple, but beautiful reminder that God gives the toughest battles to His strongest soldiers. We were not created to to live depressed, defeated, guilty, condemned, ashamed, or unworthy. We are destined to succeed.
North Myrtle Beach (Cherry Grove to be specific) will always have a special place in my heart.
I had the most incredible Memorial Day weekend with my family that included lots of sun, fruity drinks, and good seafood! It was a perfect, refreshing getaway!
Summer in Lilly…is there any other way? Pictured above and below are two of my favorite Lilly Pulitzer prints to wear at the beach. I also love the new summer collection and have I mentioned that my birthday is in 13 days…hint hint.
Well that’s all for now! I hope everyone has a wonderful week, although I’m sure we all wish we could be wasted away in Margaritaville. Luckily I only have three more days left of work until summer break…YIPPIE!
